PhD Thesis on mass media anthropology now available on Scribd

Francisco OSORIO (born 1968) is an anthropologist who holds a PhD (2002) and MA (1996) from the University of Chile. Since 1997 he has been editor-in-chief of the Latin American e-journal Cinta de Moebio, whose remit is epistemology. As a Fulbright scholar he studied the relationship between anthropology and the mass media with Elihu KATZ at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2000. He is currently a research fellow at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
