My very first Freemind map

July 29, 2009

This is my very first Freemind map, courtesy of Vladimir Toncar’s online tutorial. Incredibly easy to learn (this took less than an hour), free of charge and brimming with research and teaching possibilities. Thanks Vladimir! Any other similar software people would recommend?

    Hi,
I have been using freemind mapping too, but I use it as a phone application (android application) on my mobile phone.

I have had some issues with the branching (child/parent)..but so far so good. I hope to use it for an anthropology class to ask students to do a freemind mapping that is also a kinship map. I am glad to see it as a desktop application, not all students can download android applications to their mobiles!

    Thank you John,
