The geopolitics of new media

What part will new and emerging media play in the unsteady consolidation of a post-Cold War era dominated, at least according to Parag Khanna (2008), by the three imperial powers of America, the EU and China? There seems to be, on first inspection, a great disconnect between the geopolitical and new media scholarship.

Now that would make a great study, wouldn’t it: the geopolitics of new media.
